We are thrilled to announce that LaunchCLT venture, Druid Agriculture Inc., has emerged as the winner of the Greater Charlotte Region in the North Carolina Biotechnology Center’s 2024 Venture Challenge!
Druid Agriculture’s groundbreaking Druid SERRA System, an AI-enabled camera system designed to allow farmers to monitor their crops from anywhere, has been recognized for its potential to revolutionize agricultural practices. The system can detect changes in plant health and alert farmers when their crops need attention, providing a hassle-free and cost-effective solution to maximize crop yields.
As a regional winner, Druid Agriculture Inc. receives $20,000 in non-dilutive funding, partnerships with local incubators and accelerators, and regional promotion. They will now compete at the statewide Venture Pitch Showcase for a chance to win additional awards totaling $100,000.
